2018 Sea Trout Permits

This year’s Sea Trout permit allocation process will be starting in 4 or 5 weeks time.

As in previous years all current Sea Trout permit holders will be sent an invitation to apply for this year’s permit and will be guaranteed one if they send their application to arrive on or before 31st March 2018.

If you are an existing permit holder and your postal and/or email address has changed since your current permit was issued, please email with your new details.

Once the 31st March 2018 deadline has passed, any unsold Sea Trout permits will be allocated to new applicants according to when they were added to this year’s waiting list. Anyone interested in applying for a Sea Trout permit should contact the Society (email link to the left of this post)  as soon as possible to ensure the best chance of being offered a permit before we run out.

URGENT – Pollution
Plumpton Mill Stream and the Bevern Stream.

Many of our anglers will be aware of the recent devastating pollution of the Plumpton Mill Stream and the Bevern Stream – OART Report – Click Here

The main river is now starting to feel the effect of the pollution and the Environment Agency (EA) has asked that we keep a watch on the main river and report any sightings of casualties. Any such casualties should be reported immediately to the EA hotline (0800 807060) with details of the date observed, location, types of fish, approximate numbers and size.

Your help at this time is greatly appreciated…  Thank you.
