Barcombe Mill Pool clearance / Sea Trout season kick off

Updated: Apr 30

Ahead of the sea trout season starting May 1st, OAPS committee members spent a very satisfying morning clearing the pool of some serious timber which had wedged in some of the most popular swims over winter.

Some of the overhanging branches that prevent casting have also been removed and a previously unfishable swim at the back of the pool has been opened up.

Anyone fishing the pool this spring and summer should see quite a difference!
