Its is with great sadness that we heard of the loss of our friend and bailiff Danny Minnikin. Danny's enthusiasm for fishing was infectious, his sense of what was right and doing right for the environment, the society and all people connected with it was an example to all. A huge loss to the angling community. I spent a few hours with him this Autumn, enjoying his poetry and rivebank tales - I would have happily stayed all day. For those wishing to pay their respects, and say goodbye there is an event on Wednesday 18th June on Cliffe Bridge, Lewes at 3pm. Details below.
